After lengthy discussions and consultations with our governing bodies, it has become abundantly clear that we must err on the side of caution and act in the best interests of everyone’s health and safety. That being said, we are incredibly disappointed to share that ROW’s Battle of the Beers Oktoberfest will be postponed.

We have not reached this decision lightly and truly believe it’s the best course of action given the accelerated spread of COVID-19’s Delta variant. We knew from the outset this situation might occur, and we made plans to accommodate it. We are hopeful our Spring, 2022 back up date will fall within a changed and safer COVID-related landscape.

Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

What about the winning beers?

Attendees can sample and vote for as many types of beer they want from 3 categories: light (in color, not calories), dark and an Oktoberfest. The winning beer from each of those 3 categories will be featured on tap at Greensburg's very own craft beer destination Marino's American Eatery.

With 16 beers on tap, Marino’s is a family friendly restaurant and bar that features local craft breweries, hand crafted cocktails created by certified mixologist Joshua Jones, and a unique menu designed by award-winning chef Patrick Conway. Located in West Point Plaza, Marino’s is locally owned and operated by Jones and Conway. Together, the two have more than 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry.
